Worship Christ with us this Sunday at Austin High School at 9:30am, 11:15am or 5pm. We'll be finishing up chapter 5 of 1st Corinthians this week.

For those of you taking part in our Summer Leadership Track, week 2 happens throughout the day on Sunday. Check the Leadership Track blog for the schedule and other important information.

This summer we have trips headed to Zambia, Turkey, North Africa and the Dominican Republic to live in and serve alongside other believers in these communities. The group currently in the D.R. has been posting updates on their trip, which you can read them here.

God’s Big Backyard starts Monday morning at Austin High School. If you have children ages 3-12, make sure to pre-register them online to make sure they don’t miss out on the fun.

Your kids will spend the week learning about the Gospel and about how they can be a part of what Jesus is doing in their own community. On Friday night, the entire family is invited out to Pickle Elementary for our VBS Block Party.

As most of you know, we have begun developing friendships with people living on mission in Turkey. One family we've been working with will be visiting Austin soon. The couple directs an indigenous Korean organization serving in Turkey. While they are here, we will be spending time with them, hearing their story and lifting them up in prayer. On Saturday, June 28, we’re hosting a special seminar for moms. Speaker Peggy Osborne and her daughter Lauren will teach the Conscious Discipline model. They will discuss how to remain calm in the midst of power struggles, use language that children understand and provide choices to children to encourage cooperation instead of conflict. Join other moms in learning the power in responding rather than reacting. Lunch will be provided. Space is limited, please RSVP.
