Prayer at The Austin Stone

We believe that prayer is a vital part of worshipping our Savior. We want to be people who are in communication with their God as they drive, as they go to class, as they work, as they spend time with family or friends. We believe that God listens to, cares about, and responds to the prayers of those who know Him.

Prayer on Sundays

Our prayer team is led by people who are passionate about interceding for and with our Body. They lead a time of individual prayer and meditation on Scripture before the corporate worship services at 4:30pm and 6:30pm every Sunday evening. We often gather into groups of three or four during our corporate worship services to pray together. Members of the prayer team are also available at the conclusion of worship services at the prayer stations on either side of the stage to pray with anyone who would like. This is also an area where all are welcome to go for a private time of prayer.

Prayer during the week

The prayer team meets weekly to pray for the requests received during corporate worship, through emails, or from the request form available on this page. They also hold meetings the first Tuesday of every month at 7pm at Grace Covenant Church.
